Students, faculty and staff can register to receieve an alert for the following types of communications: delayed opening time, cancellation of classes for all or part of the day, and/or information about an emergency on campus or in the area with directions. The alerts can be sent to a variety of devices (i.e. phone, mobile device, email).

YCCC will notify the following TV/Radio stations:NBC/WCSH(Channel 6), CBS/WGME (Channel 13), ABC/WMTW (Channel 8), WRED (95.9FM), WLOB (1310AM & 96.3FM); WJAE (900AM); WJJB (1440 AM & 95.5 FM); WOKQ (97.5FM), WPKQ (103.7F,), SHARK (102.1FM; 105.3FM), WGAN (560 AM), WMGX (93.1 FM), WPOR (101.9 FM); WYNZ (100.9FM), WTSN (100.9 FM);WBYY (98.7FM) of any Campus Information about a delayed opening time,
cancellation of all classes for all or part of the day, information about any emergency situation.
