If an emergency occurs in a classroom, conference room, or office, please use the wall mounted phones or the office telephone to dial 911.  Situations where 911 should be called include a medical emergency (i.e. seizure, chest pain, fainting), fire, or violent behavior that places others at risk.

If an emergency occurs in the hallway or parking lot, press the red button on the emergency call boxes or under the blue lights in the parking lot.  An operator will ask for a description of the emergency and will dispatch the appropriate authorities.

For more information about emergency situations, please refer to the Emergency Policies and Procedures section of the employee handbook (section Y805.1).  This document can also be accessed by clicking here.
